MARISSA LINZ (LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT):

Marissa attended Ohio State University and graduated with a degree in Landscape Architecture in 2010.  Marissa grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and moved to Oklahoma in 2013.  She joined our team in August, 2013 and has made an immediate impact with our organization, bringing an exuberance and passion for any task given to her.  She loves her Lord, community, everything outdoors, loves to dig in the dirt and work with carpentry (a skill she learned from her father and his carpentry business), gardening and art.  She can whip out a perspective on a moment's notice!

Jimmy Nix (Certified LED Lighting Professional & MistAway Systems):

Oversees all pool and landscape lighting, MistAway systems.

Jimmy graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1984 with a degree in Management Science & Computing Systems.  After graduating, he worked as a programmer/analyst at Shell Oil Company in Houston, Texas for three years.  In 1988, he returned to Oklahoma City and worked at MicroAge for the next 13 years in computer sales and management.  In 2000, Jimmy left MicroAge to manage the real estate and investments of his family's partnership.  Since turning this over to a private management group, he now heads our LED lighting and pool electronics installations, as well as the MistAway Mosquito misting systems.

Jimmy has been involved in computers, networks and programming for many years.  He received his IBM Networking Sales Specialist certification in 1992 and his Cisco Sales Expert and Microsoft Sales Specialist certification in 1997.  Jimmy also received his Professional LED Certification through Philips Lighting in October, 2013.  He currently designs, installs and programs the lighting systems and shows we use in our pools and landscaping.

With adventure embedded in Jimmy's DNA, he is non-stop with various passionate pursuits such as his family, OSU, barefoot waterskiing, rattlesnake hunting, elk and bear hunting, photography and violinist; he lives life to the fullest.  He and Kelly grew up together and have been friends since the age of 8.

Cameron Caviness (Operations Manager):

Attended Oklahoma State University from 2005 through 2008.  Left OSU to pursue his dream of travel and adventure through service through the World Race in January, 2009 for 11 months, traveling the world  and 23 countries all over the globe.  Served in various capacities and through various non-profit organizations and ministries in Dominican Republic, Haiti, Cambodia, Malaysia, Thailand, Burma (now Myanmar), South Africa, Swaziland, Mozambique, Lesotho, Ukraine, Romania and Germany.

Cameron joined our team permanently in 2011 and married Christine in 2012.  Cameron is in charge of insuring all teams are running smoothly, keeping inventory up to date and all deliveries of material.  He is also instrumental in the social media and office functions.   He is passionate about his Lord, his wife Christine, family, playing music (guitar, piano) and community, furthering the Kingdom by loving and serving those he encounters, movies (he can quote any movie to fit any moment).

Christian Caviness (Landscape Designer):

Attended Western State University of Colorado in Gunnison, Colorado from 2011-2013, returning to Edmond, Oklahoma to pursue his dream of working in the family business alongside his father and brother.  He is passionate about the pool and landscape business, and attention to detail and work moral.  A natural born leader and the tallest of the Caviness clan, everyone looks up to him in more ways than one.  Christian loves everything that is outdoors, especially rock climbing, snowboarding, as well as fly-fishing with his father and brother.  Cameron and Christian have a weekly "Brother Night" where you can find them acting out an adventure movie such as any Star Wars movie, Jurassic Park, or Lord of the Rings.

Antonio Vega (Head Foreman):

Antonio has been with the Caviness team since 1993 and now is in charge over all crews.  He is instrumental in carrying out the construction process and will go over and beyond to ensure the quality and integrity of our projects.  He is passionate about his family, and loves to ride bikes with his family almost every evening, fishing with his sons, and working on his cars or any other mechanical structure.
